I like my watch better. It took up the design concept of the Lamborghini Veneno and more progressive looking.
Enough about watches. I am set for the next 10 years at least. As I said, the only watch I need is the Casio Mudman. With the coming of internet, it is more fun to watch the various models instead of owning so many variations. I have 3 variations and yet I can't wear them all.
The peak of my delight is wearing the Indulgence on my left and the Mudman on my right. A very striking contrast. With the pair I have the widest spectrum of satisfaction. On one end I have vanity and on the other end is functionality. What a joy for spending less than RM600 (that counts too).
These are for my viewing pleasure only:
As much as possible I AVOID negative display. Period.
I already got two of the best price over performance watches from G-Shock. Now to enjoy my purchases.
I have to be mindful to not fall for the hedonic adaptation trap. Buying watches can be a pretty lustful experience. It is pure dopamine. I don't need drugs to get high nowadays. Just indulge in viewing the watches and I am in a world of my own.
Right now I am wearing all three of my Casio. I am really crazy about owning cheap functional watches. Forget about buying anything above RM400. As long as it is cheap and has aesthetic value, I am game.
However I am not going to buy anymore watch until my Mudman breaks down. So we are talking about the next 10 years at least. Damn cheap too selling for RM261. That is my benchmark. Anything above that is indulgence like the new watch that I bought.
This is taking the advice from Mark Sisson - AVOID STUPID MISTAKES including buying more things more expensive.
Every time I look at a new model, I will take a quick glance at my watches and I do really feel grateful that I own six of the most functional and good looking watches.
The Casio Tough Solar is going on for 7 years. I got that for RM260 in 2013. I want to see how reliable this watch is. Once it's dead I will replace it with another original Tough Solar battery unless it lasted for 15 years. By then I will get a similar model with a slight variation on the dial.
Better still, I'll get this model:
A damn good looking watch for RM118.
Well Sarah, there is no ending when comes to cheap good looking watches. I better stop here. Tomorrow is a big day. I got to get back on track again with my exercises.
Come to think of it, why should I bother spending anymore money on watches? I should be thinking of enjoying what I have.
The urge to buy is a psychological defect especially when I have more than what I can wear.
No more more or more expensive mentality. It should be less or less frequent. I have to live up to my own philosophy.
Most importantly I need to break the pattern of buying and start thinking of saving.
