I say Casio really knows how to create value for money watches.  The watch looks damn good for RM343.  It resonates style and reliability at a fraction of a price.

No regret at all.  The only thing is, my reserve had dipped below the safety level.  I need to raise up the level again.

Casio Tough Solar - my stay home watch.


Casio Mudman - my tennis and exercise watch


Casio G Shock Indulgence - My simply feel good watch


All handsome and good looking.  Too bad I have 2 hands because I do feel like wearing 3 watches now.

I have a soft spot for watches.

Best part is, I will retire all my watches when I am 70.  By then I will use only a Casio Mudman.  The proven, field tested watch of all time.

Or what I do is I'll get 2 G Shocks; a Mudman and an Analog one just like what I have now.

Now that I bought this G Shock Analog, you can be rest assured that I had reached the peak of my indulgence.  I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO BUY!

About time too.  I had dipped below my buffer.

From now on it's about building back to RM1750.  Then from there everything extra goes to the Unit Trust.

I had reached to the point that I can indulge myself.  I could not have picked a better item to symbolize this gesture.  The watch is really suited for the occasion.

So today I close the chapter of Hedonist Hermit and begin a new chapter of Minimalist Existentialist.  No more buying the same things more or more expensive.  Now is about eating less or less frequently.

I'm glad I had figured my life out.  I am on my way to a healthier and happier me.  When I am healthy I will be happy.  It's all in the neurotransmitter.  All I got to do is balance the neurochemicals in the body.  To do that I got to manage food.  All it takes is to eat less or less frequently.

It is proven.  Mice that were given 30% less food lived 30% longer.

Even when I look at my current health problems which are the extra weight and the inflammation, both are the result of my inability to withstand hunger.

I got to really be grateful.  While people out there are slogging day in and day out to pay for the three most expensive things; house, car and child education, I am living in the most sought after neighborhood, driving a brand new best seller and most advanced economical car while my daughter is studying to become a doctor on scholarship.  All that without me having to worry about where to find the money.

No wonder my friends, siblings and daughters said I am very lucky.  I don't have much money, but then I don't need that much either.

Already I had completed my lifetime purchases.  Otherwise I wouldn't buy the watch.  It was pure indulgence.  I might as well call the watch my G SHOCK INDULGENCE.  It's like wearing a diamond bracelet.  I wear it for no other reason than to say I HAD ENOUGH THINGS.

Now my focus is on being thin and fast.  I do that through diet and exercise.  The answer is eat OMAD and exercise AHAD,  If I do these two things, I will be healthy and happy.

  • Avoid Stupid Mistakes
