Today I start exercising at 7:00 am
I am not happy because I exercise, I exercise therefore I'm happy.
Instead of:
Be => Do => Have
Do => Have => Be
Change that to:
Do => Be => Have
It must start with action. Motion creates emotion.
I must have discipline, then I must persist. Finally I must be consistent.
This is the formula for me to take control of my happiness.
So today I bring forward everything 15 minutes ahead.
Already I am benefiting for the effort. I am mentally alert. Ready to face the day. Today I make a grand [grand] entrance to my life. The first day I wake up at 5:30 am, super alert instead of sleeping at 5:00 am before this when listening to Sound Journey.
I get my sleep in order again. Finally, after 42 years... Suddenly the memory of when I first join Sekolah Alam Shah triggered. I remember the cool morning as a 13 years old Freshie. I remember going for the cold shower. That long ago... Then I remember that we are looking forward to azan during prayer. I was so eager to azan that I did it before it's time.
That was how long ago I was led to the Path. I remember the cold morning very well together with the sound of the the shower water being turned on.
I am transported to the Age of Innocence again. Just because I woke up at 5:30 am this morning. That is the reward.
