That is the fundamental for me to progress ahead.
OMAD is great. It allows my mind to be away from thinking about food. The paleolithic people eat once a day or none at all. Depending on the success of the hunt for the day.
Here I am so lavish with food that I begin to have problem with my health due to too much eating. It doesn't make sense. I am 30 kg overweight. That's too much fat to be stored. It's not that we will be facing famine anytime soon.
Imagine, my problem all this while is because I eat too much. So much so that becomes the norm. All I need is to eat once a day. I need to eat clean. No sugar no flour. I think the rice is OK on OMAD. It keeps me full and satiated.
So today I'll do house chores. I will sweep and mop the whole house. I can do that because I don't have to worry about eating lunch.
I need to feel light again. I need to think like an athlete. Imagine, I have the whole day to work on my Vision Quest. I should not have any excuse.
2019 is sure moving very fast. Already we are on the 4th Quarter. What had I achieve in the last 3 quarters?
The lesson here is 2020 planning starts now. I cannot afford to waste anymore time. Certainly I have a few mistakes early this year.
Let me review my activities the past 9 months...
January 2019: Major inflammation
February 2019: Managed to bring weight down to 85.3 kg but still got inflammation.
March 2019: Managed to go as low as 82.8 kg. Still got inflammation.
April 2019: Still within control 85.5 kg.
May 2019: Ramadan. Weight increasing to 87 kg. Still got inflammation.
June 2019: Weight increase to 89.5 kg. Still got inflammation.
July 2019: By now I am back to 90.2 kg
August 2019: By now I am back in the 90s
September 2019: I weigh 93.4 kg
So this October I am back to square one. Although I managed to tackle the inflammation, the first half of the year I am stuck with serious inflammation. Certainly ketogenic diet is not working for me.
I had not been exercising as much as I should.
