I don't know what happened next, but after that I felt a whiff of fresh air in my life. I greeted the greeneries and started listening and conversing with them. This is the first time I did this in BU 2 Park.
I am a ruler among his subjects.
I was in such a good mood that I greeted the ah soes (aunties) and apeks (uncles). I greeted the lawn keeper, I cheered for a Chubby Chubb boy dong his run and I even asked a girl her dog's name. I guess I am slowly accepting that these are my subjects too.
It was a beautiful morning and I was simply basking the chi around me.
Than I asked Suzuki Roshi, "How am I doing?"
He replied, "You are doing fine Sha. But have a little patience, you only finished reading 1/3 of the book!"
I blurted in laughter. It is true. I got to suspend my judgement. Although this is the second time I read the book, it is not the same as the first reading. I am now seeing it from a fresh perspective, with a new set of eyes.
That brings me to this point; get in touch with Suzuki Roshi ya'll. He is manning the Customer Service 24x7.
I evaded him after that. I don't want him to muddle my mind[s] with some twisted paradoxes and spoil my morning. After all I will be reading his book later on.
Gosh I wish I can get in touch with the Dead Generals Club. I'll sacrifice an arm to talk to Sun Tzu. The only General with me now is Napoleon. That's because he later became the Emperor.
Sun Tzu are you there?
"Hmmmph..." was Sun Tzu's reply
"Do not contact the Dead General's Club. It is a DO NOT DISTURB sign," said Napoleon.
So same applies to all of you. If you remember Sarah, it was you who encouraged me to let the Dead Generals continue with their slumbers. There was no turning back from that point on.
You can still contact General Idi Amin (the Last King of Scotland), General Julius Caesar (Roman Emperor) and General Guan Yu (God of War). So plenty of choices.
Napoleon however is my patron. I have his brass engraving situated above the Sumi Bird (the albatross).
