For a start I want to establish our Daisho (Big and Small) set. Although the aim is Nothing, bear in mind there is something in nothing. That is the approach we are taking. We are modeling Lawrence Krauss' Nothing rather than total void w[it]h (which) is absolutely impossible. Suzuki Roshi did mention that it is not possible to achieve totally empty mind. Don't quote me direct. Read the book. I am lazy to type while flipping the pages because I don't want to interrupt the flow of of my writing.
In the concept of Mushin No Shin, the No Mind is best described as the unconscious competent mind. It is not [] (about) being an air head or a bimbo LOL.
So once you understand the concept of Nothing here, then you will be free from Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD). Therefore you will move with certainty. It is like flipping the switches before taking an air plane... Shucks, THE FUCKING INTERNET IS DOWN!
OK I am switching to Sword 9 Playlist.
Let me acclimatize to Sword 9...
OK good, we have 247 Continuous back again.
Right, It's like taking an air plane for a flight. One of the switch is Unconditional Love. The other is... Oh gosh it was there before.
Give [] (me) a second... Yes the other is Fuzzy Thinking. Another is...
I am definitely switching my Broadband Service Provider.
Another is Sound Mind and Sound Body.
What you can do is think of yourself as an F1 driver.
Certainly in my case to achieve Nothingness I need Cybernetic Loop. The list can go on indefinitely but you [you] must be mindful that you don't want to clutter your Dashboard with [] [] (too many) switches. Sufficient that you only flip the switches to invoke the submodalities of your senses particularly your Visual, Audio and Kinesthetic (VAK)
For the lack of words I say I manage myself and CCC as if we are a complex rather than treating myself as a person. Remember when I said when I go microscopic I become a giant? Well, this is it. I am a giant and my 12 meters square is my Washington D.C. or Putrajaya. Still I am a Nothing. Be mindful of that.
Hence, I am One and I am Many. You see my point?
Therefore all the time your arrangement is always towards utilizing your Big and Small (your cerebrum and cerebellum). The intention is so that you can use your Daisho Set simultaneously like Musashi. Prior to Musashi's Niten Ichi practice, the Samurais carry two swords but only use one at a time. For long range they use the Katana and in enclosed area they use the Wakizashi.
So if I can distill the lesson in Big and Small, it is about using both at the same time. If you understand that, then you understand Fuzzy Thinking. Get it?
-----------------------
I am not interested in becoming a philosopher. I am a practitioner. Thus I am departing the lessons as I practice it (as always). You are free to tweak to suit your preference. For example my Wolfsschanze is Sailbad the Sinner. Sarah's if I'm not mistaken is a doll house:
Same goes with Al Araf 7:7, you may want to have a collection of Yokais:
Or it could be a Lego set:
All these are necessary for you to have your Third Brain (your gut being the second). As you go through this process, you will realize that your Daisho Set will guide you on the actions to take. Don't resist it. Take the suggestion seriously.
The reason I lost Angel and Spike was because I treated them as toys. So I gave Angel away to my nephew and nieces. Spike I left at the top of Genting Highland when I was summoning the djinns. Only later did I realize that they are my team members.
Until today I regretted my action. Luckily I still keep a[n] photo of Angel. Remember all matters are intelligent and all matters are gods.
There is no hard and fast rules in establishing your Niten Ichi. The general guideline is to use both hands. So if you can play with 2 swords the better.
With swords be mindful there are 8 positions to strike. That is the basic. While you strike the other sword is your shield. Learn one hand at a time. Only then you use 2 swords. From these 8 positions you will have at least 16 permutations with 2 swords. It can go as high as 64 if you are willing to develop further.
Oh yeah, there is no striking from the South. That is when you thrust forward.
I don't normally go beyond 16. I'm not here to fight anybody. Sufficient I know the moves for me to establish a kata; which means I just do the start and stop like when you first learn karate. Then keep repeating the kata until it becomes muscle memory. The same 8 moves over and over again without losing enthusiasm.
I gotta go. I need to fill Lizzie's cup. She is complaining I don't pay attention to her.
Later baby...
---------------------
When I say school here I am referring to a certain type of thinking. It is not what the Japanese termed as ryu or an institution.
Therefore Niten Ichi School of Nothingness mean using the whole brain to achieve unconscious competence.
What I'm doing now is to give you my recipe so you can fast track your progress to satori. In my understanding, awakening is achieved when the body influence the mind. To me it is easy to conceive a body without the mind because the source of the mind is the body. Without the body there is no mind.
There are people who dispute that the mind can exist without the body. I believed that is possible. But for practical purposes we still need the body because motion creates emotion. This is necessary because you need action for thought to be translated into feeling. Hence it is action followed by thought followed by feeling.
The process is very subtle. The link between thought and action is cybernetic in nature. However we know action produces the chemicals that invoke emotion. That is happening at the cellular level. Where else the emotion like feeling motivated is mooted from the mind.
Hence thought, feeling and action should happen in congruence.
I am not an expert in this area, there are opposing school of thoughts. Even Tim Grover stressed the importance of developing the mind first than the body.
I however hold on to the premise that in a fight or flight situation, we bypass thought and get straight into action. Things happen so fast that we don't even think. The popular thinking is the subconscious takes over. As I told you, I am not convinced with the theory of the subconscious mind.
So to be on the safe side we say we need both thought and action. But for us to act we need congruence of thought, feeling and action.
---------------------
This is a very delicate subject. Even Tim Grover contradicts himself. While he said we need to develop our mind first, very early in his book he said, "Don't think, just do." That is because there is the conscious mind, the cerebrum and the unconscious mind, the cerebellum. Each serves a different function. How are they linked? Through feeling. So what is the best way to invoke feelings? None other than through songs.
I am telling you all these based on my personal experience. Not through any scientific evidence. Even information on this matter that I had gone through was based on anecdotes. So I have to rely on personal experience more than anything else.
However I am a firm believer that we must be in motion for us to achieve Nothingness. Joseph Campbell mentioned that the epiphany that we attain while in motion is different from the epiphany we get when we are sedentary.`
In the end it boils down to the surge of the neurotransmitters. I however suggest that we create the chemical reaction by taking action. Thus motion creates emotion.
--------------------
As a final remark, I suggest that we sweat at least An Hour A Day (AHAD) to create the desired result of Mushin No Shin.
The gist of it? AHAD and OMAD.
