- I started OMAD and stick with it
- This is the month I am most active physically
- I got rid of inflammation
- I lost 2 kg
- I got rid of Nicorette
- I started running Lembah Kiara
- I bought 3 watches
- I bought a new earphone
- I cut of Els and TraXX
I would say overall October is the most memorable month for me. Imagine, it took me TEN MONTHS to really get on track for 2019.
It is still not too late to achieve my 2019 goal although I think losing 30 kg may not happen. Therefore I just focus on the process and let the result takes shape.
------------------
I went for a brisk walk today. The damp weather is perfect for exercising. Today is really fun. I feel very motivated and energized the whole time I was walking Lembah Kiara.
I met Ameezan on the way back. Good thing about him is he is consistent. I need to be like him if I want to make this my lifestyle for the next 22 years.
22 years is not long at all. We are talking about one S Curve Cycle. Of course if everyday is a Ground Hog day, then the years can easily slip by. I forgot what I did in some of the years like 2010, 2011 and 2015. These are wasted years.
Years like 2016, 2017, 2018 and especially 2019 will be the cumulative years, It is building towards a certain destination.
My turnaround year is 2016. From that point on my life had changed dramatically. Instead of being depressed like 2010 and 2011, I am now moving with certainty.
I expect that 2024 will be a great year for me. I look forward to it.
---------------------
This is it. This is my life. This are the cards that I have to deal with. I might as well make the best of it. I had laid the foundation to be the Athlete4Life.
Overall it's a great life. 100% of my time is mine. I have peace of mind. By the look of things I think I am on the right track to be healthy and happy.
It did cross my mind to develop a personal development course and make some money along the way. However any attempt to earn detours me from my Path. Let this be the path for me. I don't need more money to buy more things. Therefore I just *s[tay] (should) manage money as one of the variables, not as the prime mover.
* I know I am on the right path Sarah. The main indicator is it doesn't have much resistance. Things flow effortlessly form execution point of view.
Money is the most tricky variable to manage. Next is social interaction. I should look at it as unnecessary evil because being social means having to spend money. Therefore I should only manage social interactions that don't cost money like my interactions with Yati, Azzue and Sashi. All forms of social interaction that cost money must be stopped immediately.
Even social interaction that brings me money like my interaction with Munek should be eliminated. I don't want to create dependency. In the long run I should stand alone. A warrior walks alone. Eagles fly alone.
The third variable I need to monitor closely is food. Since food makes up 80% of my health, I need to get it right when comes to what and when I should eat. This OMAD is working. My blood pressure and heart rate are lower. No more gout either.
Today I'll eat something light. Maybe I should have some Chicken Rice. We'll see. I try to avoid having to eat rice.
---------------------
These are the things I had set to achieve in the next 5 years:
- I want to weigh 57 kg
- I want to get rid of inflammation
- I want to be independent of medication
- I want to run 4 hours marathon
- I want to run 10 km per hour
- I want to run 5 km twice a week
- I want to run 11 km hill once a week
- I want to reinforce the Mini Emperor's Routine by December
- I want to complete the Statue of David in September 2022
- I want to buy the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Casio in 2024
Of the 10, 9 are health related. Only one is money related. Therefore it makes sense that I should be focusing in a healthy lifestyle than about making money.
Now Sarah, this is not an excuse for me to bum around. Doesn't mean I don't earn a living I am a bum. It's just money doesn't motivate me as much as seeing daily progress towards health albeit weight reduction or improvement in my physical performance.
---------------------
My food combination today is great; beef, tempe, eggs and veges. No carbs. Also I have dark chocolate afterwards. I still eat clean with as little as RM7. Let's hope the food tuck will continue to do business for the next 20 years. Their food is 60% cheaper than the next cheapest; which are the Indian restaurants.
On top of that, they are really good dishes, healthy and tasty..
----------------------
Oh yeah, the Limited Edition arrived. It is an imitation alright. I would say it's a quality imitation. I don't mind holding on to it to see how long it will last.
Already the screen went blank just now. After pressing a button it is back to normal again.
If it is value for money, I don't mind an imitation at all. As long as it last up to 5 years I'll be happy.
I don't expect it to survive shock and water though. I'll use it with care.
Aesthetically I like it better than the 5600 Solar. Then again the difference is very minute. Almost unnoticeable.
As far as the Square G-Shock is concerned I already got the best of the breed. So I don't mind having the worst of the lot at half the price. Then I can see how far my RM147 travels. As it is, the money is still worth spending on this imitation watch. After all it's meant to pair with the 5600 Solar. Either this or the HD700-9A.
I looked at it as a decent investment. It's not like I will become poorer with the purchase. I can live with it.
Worst case scenario I looked at it as buying a piece of fashion. Now I have a piece of fashion that I will not trash.
Anyway this is a bet. I bet it will last for 5 years. If it does then it's worth the money. Until then, there is nothing wrong with the watch. I just enjoy the purchase.
------------------------
Suddenly I remember my first Hundred Percent Club. If this watch is capable to bring back that memory, then already I am getting the value for my money.
I can always return back the watch. I got 14 days to do that. However I really like this watch. Somehow it reminded me of the story Aladdin; a street urchin who made it to the top.
So I'm keeping this watch. Instead of Limited Edition I shall call it the Street Urchin LOL.
With the Casio Street Urchin, I will always remember that LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING. It may be a Limited Edition, but the truth it, it is just an imitation.
After all it is the CITIZEN SOLDIER VARIATION. So we allow those deceivers in the unit. Much like having a con artist among the team members.
Whatever the reason, I am keeping the watch. So I'll wait until 2023 to replace it with the 40th Anniversary model. Until then I'm going to make the impostor the Head of Intelligence.
Let see if it fares up. I think it can.
